Biography
Jane Elder consults with nonprofit organizations and public agencies on communications strategies for environmental issues. She was the founding director of Biodiversity Project, an organization dedicated to raising public awareness about biodiversity through innovative communication strategies. Prior to leading the Biodiversity Project, she was Director of Ecoregion Planning for Sierra Club, and founded the Sierra Club’s Great Lakes program as head of its Midwst Office in the 1980s.
